CAMP CREATE" is a summer camp for children 6-16. Our camp focuses on FUN through EDUCATION. CAMP CREATE provides instruction in Reading and Math to reinforce skills that campers might otherwise forget during the summer. Campers work on math and reading daily during their 4 week camp experience. Lessons are geared to their individual grades and abilities.
We partner with the Twinsburg/Solon Public Library for our Summer Reading program to obtain books in multiples so campers can read together and have book discussions. We have an in-house library of books which are organized according to reading level. Math lessons are given according to age and ability and we encourage parents to use some of the free and fun educational online programs such as Khan academy and other resources provided by their school to assist their camper with their educational success.
CAMP CREATE provideS strong social and educational foundations that prepare your child for success in elementary school and beyond. Our camp is designed to give children room to grow, room to share, and room to be themselves. Here, children work together, have constructive fun together, and discover how enjoyable learning can be.

Encourages students to be more engaged and to learn actively.
Encourages imagination and creativity.
1. I Love the Land – These projects will get campers out into the community to
make observations, collect data, and ultimately make recommendations on a
current issue in the neighborhood to improve the city. Campers will present their
recommendations to a panel on the Celebration of Knowledge Day at the
conclusion of the camp.
2. Arts Focus – These projects will provide campers with a creative outlet.
Campers will express themselves through performance and/or visual arts.
Campers will perform and/or create a gallery that displays their work on the
Celebration of Knowledge Day at the conclusion of the camp.
3. Plant and manage a garden to donate to local families - Plant a garden using
raised beds to grow herbs/vegetables to donate to local families, or other
organizations.
4. ALL CAMPERS enrolled will participate in our Summer Reading Club to inspire
a love of books and reading and will be rewarded weekly for their completion of
that week’s task. We’ve partnered with Solon and Twinsburg libraries.
Project-based learning is a learning method in which campers identify a
real-world problem and develop its solution. Campers gain knowledge and skills
by working for a longer period of time to investigate and respond to an engaging
or complex question, problem or challenge.
*It allows students to demonstrate their capabilities while working
independently.
*It develops a student’s ability to work with other students, building
teamwork and group skills.
*It shows the student’s ability to apply skills such as doing research.
